*slight withdrawal symptoms; becomes pouty and whiny*

I hate how some people on my friends list get like... 20 comments on every post when I'm lucky to get 4. Usually, I have none.

It makes me feel like I'm boring.

...I'm not, am I?

Actually, I usually don't get any comments, 4 is a good day. Just when I whine for people's opinions, or for attention like today.

...or when I post icons. People seem to like when I make those.

mhm, I see ... well, when I started to use LJ, I only wanted to use it for writing for myself (to remember special things) ... even now, I don't write that much entries (sometimes even not an entry per week). So I don't really know, why I sometimes so long for comments ... perhaps it's really just for confirmation, that I'm not that "dead" ...

as for me making comments... it's hard to comment on somebodies entries, who I don't know that well ... dunno, but somehow I get the feeling that it would be dumb to do so, if I even don't have the slightest idea, what's really going on in him/her (<-that's for "serious" entries...)

ano, I hope that wasn't too confusing... ^^

*nods* Yeah. I think, the thing with comments is it lets you know that there are people out there and that they do actually care about what you think and say. (thus why I got upset that I never get any...)

And I totally understand about not being able to comment on the more serious entries. That's why I have a separate, friends only journal for my posts like that. I don't want just everyone to see that stuff because they won't really have anything to say. (Yeah, I complain in this one, but it's nothing compared to some of the stuff in my other LJ)
