migrainexnausea ._.

Je suis malade aujourd'hui. :(

Staying home. Sleeping. Cleaning my room if I feel better later. (Let's not talk about what I did to it, but there's no room to walk in here, atm.)

Fuck what anyone else wants or thinks, today. I need sleep and to get better.

Apparantly dad's sick today, too.

And I had the weirdest dream. I dreamt I was chatting with [livejournal.com profile] shizzical on AIM (as many of you know, I don't really chat with much of anyone on AIM, so yeah, it was pretty weird on it's own) as well as repeating my conversation from last night with Kia, but I was lying in bed with my keyboard there (as I sometimes do later at night) and my mom came in my room and asked why I wasn't going to school and I told her that I'd thrown my back so she said ok and wandered off to feed the rabbits. Then my dad came down and offered me a massage and I was all like "omg no >.<" (I hate being touched like that by anyone) and then... I woke up.

Also, Kia should get her cute little ass into bed. :P

<EDIT> Oh. Uh. Apparantly I'm going to Guelph this weekend. ^^;; Just found out as of ten minutes ago. (Bringing the sister's computer to her, since the company sent it to the wrong place. Good way to make sure she gets everything installed again, too.) </EDIT>

Feet are cold. Damned cold house.

John gave me random love the other day, and I meant to post about it but didn't. So now I have. I love John, too. ;)

Leaving Saturday morning to go to Guelph and bring my sister her computer. Not stopping to visit Kia on the way this time. :( Very sad to not see Kia, but nice to escape from my house for a bit.

Need to remember to finish burning DVDs for sister, finish finance homework before I go and talk to Liz on MSN about said homework. (Partner project thing.)

Also need to finish cleaning room. *eyes it* Can do that while on AIM, though. >.>

Oh, funny story from earlier. I have our counter-top grill on and am making myself fries on it, then my brother comes in the room and informs me he never got around to finishing washing it last night, meaning there was still soap on it. (That explains why it smelled of soap while it was heating up, but then some of the oil spray dripped off and the smell went away.) I kind of glared at him and he decides to change his story to "oh, wait, no I did wipe it off." Right. Idiot boy. My mom, who was in the next room, yells at him for 'trying to poison his sister'. I merely shrugged and started eating my fries, which were perfectly fine.

verse thursday (though barely)

The Beekeeper's Daughter by Sylvia Plath (<3 <3)

A garden of mouthings. Purple, scarlet-speckled, black
The great corollas dilate, peeling back their silks.
Their musk encroaches, circle after circle,
A well of scents almost too dense to breathe in.
Hieratical in your frock coat, maestro of the bees,
You move among the many-breasted hives,

My heart under your foot, sister of a stone.

Trumpet-throats open to the beaks of birds.
The Golden Rain Tree drips its powders down.
In these little boudoirs streaked with orange and red
The anthers nod their heads, potent as kings
To father dynasties. The air is rich.
Here is a queenship no mother can contest ---

A fruit that's death to taste: dark flesh, dark parings.

In burrows narrow as a finger, solitary bees
Keep house among the grasses. Kneeling down
I set my eyes to a hole-mouth and meet an eye
Round, green, disconsolate as a tear.
Father, bridegroom, in this Easter egg
Under the coronal of sugar roses

The queen bee marries the winter of your year.
