India?

I'm seriously considering volunteering at Sangam in the near future. (Next year, year after.) It could be a lot of fun, and quite the experience. Of course, I could do Our Cabana or Our Chalet, too, but I think Sangam would really be the most interesting to me. I like that it's living and working in another country but without worrying about paying for lodging and such.

I've found that world Guiding is what I support much more than Canadian Guiding. But I have to be a member of the second to be part of the first. Still, something I believe in and would love to do.

Thoughts?

So, today I got to try another type of traditional Dutch food: kibbeling. I quite enjoyed it. My aunt and I got a bag and nibbled it on the way home from the mall.

Other dutch food I've tried? Appelflappen, appeltaart, stroopwaffel, drop (licorice, with the salt)... and those cakey-cookie-flat things. And whipped cream. That seems to be a staple of the diet, as far as I can tell. Oh, and cheese of course!

Yes. My tummy isn't terribly happy about all the fatty things, but it's been okay.
