Let me just say once and for all that I find the idea of "National Marijuana Day" to be absolutely disgusting. I've seen what long-time use of it can do to people. Maybe it won't kill you, but it can still fuck you over bad.

Just ask my ex-bf who's going to need Viagra at the age of 30. Or my HS friends whose marks went from high 90s in grade 12 to 57s in grade 13. (Mind, both were heavy users, but it is possible.)

Don't believe me? Go look up the info at places like Health Canada.

Or just keep fucking yourself over. Whatever floats your boat.

ahh well actually I kinda commend Canada for being more accepting on the medicinal use thing.. it's hard to say - I think marijuana is less scary then alcohol if you are going to drive a car..but still both should be avoided...

As for 'national marijuana day'... I don't know about that...is it like an underground thing or what? there is an annual hashbash at UoMich..

I tried it for my endometriosis..but it just made me feel crappier..

Too much of anything is bad for you [sugar, alcohol, cigarettes, weed, drugs, anti-depressants, pain killers etc], and that is that. It all depends on whether you abuse it or not.

I actually didn't know that this was "National Marijuana Day" until today. The idea of it, however, makes me cringe. I don't like drugs period, anyway, and the idea of it being a national holiday creeps me out.

Nya, I agree with you. Some of my junior high friends started smoking it last year and they are all kinda screwed up now. They drink alcohol and sleep around... it's like they're not the same people anymore. (shrug)
