What do you suppose the odds are on me getting anything in the mail today or tomorrow are?

I'm guessing practically no chance. I've already gotten all the obligatory birthday money from relatives. All I'm going to get tomorrow is older.

You have no idea how much that thought depresses me.

It's ok, I really do appreciate it.

It's just that every birthday has gotten worse for me over the years. They've become a reminder to me of how lonely I really am.
