oh man, out of sprite

I have recently discovered that no matter how much I like the premise of a community, I just can't join if a- I don't like (one of) the mod(s) or b- it smells like a fangirl breeding ground.

...or c- their rules look suspiciously like they copied the rules off of one of my communities, and only just slightly rewrote it in their own words. (Or even worse, they didn't bother with their own words.)

God, I can be such a snob, sometimes. >.

Please. All of those are legit ground rules, eventhough they may seem snobby to you. I tend not to join anything if it's too crowded, or the people that are members act or look like morons without an ounce of intelligence.

So you're not the only one.

Perhaps. I think I also become a little too offended in some cases. Like when Hyde related things don't link my site.

Or an absolute moron tells me it's nice. Well. Not so much offended then as "ew omg get it off", you know?

So. Yeah. Feel like snob.
