For those who said they'd be interested in a more intellectual/discussion based community for Jpop/rock: [livejournal.com profile] coffeetabletalk. I'm still working on the finishing touches, but yeah, friendslist gets an advanced warning to come join, if you wish. And yes, everyone is required to post the discussion within a week. Even I will. No exceptions.

I'm dling xxx-mas Jpop. :D I really wish I had more money to buy albums and stuff, though. However, I did buy a few movies on VCD today! And~ band score! *halo*

Thinking about things for my website again. Also thinking I should stop spending money and save up for my very own domain. (Not that I don't love belonging to you, John, love, but I'm going to need it for my business eventually, anyway. Plus then I won't feel guilty about how much space I use. I know I have a lot with you, but still >.>)

Hmmn. Not sure which you will know about or not, but:

- why the Hello! Project is such a success
- the attraction of unusual voices (ie kana, speena)
- analysis of an album (why it works/doesn't work, what mood it conveys, how it feels compared to the artist's other works, etc)
- why international fans divide Jpop into rock and pop divisions, is it justified?
- reoccuring symbolism for different artists (Klaha = angels/wings, Hyde = flying/feathers/wings or sea, OLIVIA = sea, etc)

I have more, except I'm supposed to be studying, so I should go do that. >.>

I have no clue what the Hello! Project is, although I am sure that I've heard of that before ...

But, I really like the analysis of an album idea. I actually had a dream about that last night >.>

The Hello! Project is responsible for such artists as Morning Musume, Mini Moni, Country Musume, etc, etc, as well as soloists like Aya Matsuura, Aya Ueto, etc, etc. Basically all the girls-having-fun type groups.

XD

:O *is pounced* >.> *goes back to studying*
