Ok. Today's artists at Alberta Scene were totally cool. I wish I could have watched the show instead of just half-listening through the wall. Anyway, if you want to check them out at their official sites: Wil & Ann Vriend. They have a few dls and stuff. Yeah. Totally worth a listen.

And now I'm going to go away before I whine about my sunburn and not-able-to-get-Tanatos-ness again.

<EDIT> Aiya... y'know, when I got into Hyde, I had to actually BUY Roentgen to hear anything that wasn't Shallow Sleep, Evergreen, or Angel's Tale. I hate how his music is shared so freely these days. I mean, I know artists only make, like $3-4 off a CD, but Hyde has to have been gypped out of millions by now. It's kind of disgusting. :\

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you truly love the music, make the effort to buy it. Please.

And the next person I see uploading an entire album (or three >:|) is so feeling my wrath. </EDIT>

I second that < EDIT > completely.
I bought 666 before I'd heard anything from it, fell in love, then found a copy of the nice "fold out" Roentgen and had to have it.
I do download whole albums, I'll admit, but then if they're good, I BUY THEM. I own about 70% of the stuff on my playlist, and anything I don't own, I have every intention of buying at some point.
I can never understand why people wouldn't want to support artists they love.

The only full albums I've ever downloaded are artists that are nearly impossible to find. And, happily, I've just found a couple of them so I can actually buy them instead. It disgusts me when I see people go and upload an artist's entire discography in on sitting though. And even more when I see people say things like "thanks, now I have the full album" or other related comments. -_-;;
