Names for my Elf....

Hador ... apparently a friend of Fingolfin's
Laiqalasse... was of the house of the Tree (possibly head)... helped Glorfindel watch the rear, fought a Balrog, apparently survived... or he guarded the front with his house and apparently survived... the internet isn't helping here. I'll have to go read the book, but this is the name that's looking best now.

Need to locate a copy of the Book of Lost Tales 2 for information on Gondolin.

Guess I'll go to the library this weekend, and hope for the best.

But yeah, definately going to use Laiqalassë. He's kewl. Found more information while skimming through the lost tales 1, Silmarillion and unfinished tales. Apparantly helped Idril escape gondolin and was known for his keen eyesight.

I have an essay worth 25% of my mark due in English tomorrow. If only I could write it on Elves!

Guess I should go get started... and maybe finish reading the book, too, so I can write the darn thing.

*puts research for puppet on pause* I'll get back to that later.

English is boring. Can't I do more French Hwk? Please?

Well, finished reading, and have a thesis for my essay, so decided to do something not boring for a while. (I'm easily distracted)
So I will make a profile for my puppet:

name: Laiqalassë
age: uh... old
from: Gondolin o nasso arda (gondolin's house of the tree)
gender: m
hair: red
eyes: blue
sexual preference: anything Eldar or Valar
personality: somewhat prissy, somewhat very innocent, plays the lute, paints, has good eyes(vision), gullible, tries to play the hero, will forget english words and slip into other languages at times (namely sindarin, french and japanese) in midsentence, then switch back
um... anyone have any ideas I can add to this?
Or perhaps a plot you want him in?

I'm not going to create him until next week though for 2 very good reasons:
1- have only been on LJ for a few days (it took me a while to find someone who had an extra code to give me an account)
2- fReaKIn' ExAMs!!
