I.
open your eyes and see the world
the heartlessness of life unkind
awakens you, and you arise
with what tattered dreams that are left behind
do you even know what you are doing?
you tell the sun not to shine
but it doesn't care what you say
it simply thinks you lost your mind
and I simply have to agree
you'd do the same, if so inclined

II.
does the sun cry each morn
at the breaking of the day?
where would the river run
if it were to lose it's way?
if the clouds would turn purple
would the sky be aquamarine?
and although life-devouring time end
would anyone know what it mean?

III.
is there a single ray of sun
hidden in the cloudy, dark grey sky
why do tears come fast
to those who must not cry
all of the evil in the world
is there a reason why
stop the endless cycle of pain
will no one ever try
when all things seem hopeless
should one just quit and die
gnutmeg: (light)
pretty? pretty is not here
pretty is gone?
am i to be with him?
i cannot i am dead
bloody soul black mourning

o white morning
in whence the end do pass
pass us by but for pretty
soft heart, my pretty, and soft tongue
breathe for the voice that will not come
does it own you, or you, it?
black cloth does mark the change
woe betide, my sugar self
lay our broken pieces down
scream to bleed and bleed to die
die to live again
o pretty i am sad at you
and unfilled within a lie
o pretty i can hardly speak
my voice knows not the words

o pretty pretty stars at night
and a darling moon
make way for pretty sunrise
morning love of life
tomorrow is no future
it only lasts one day

yesterday is all that's passed
even the dead ones
dead dead, o pretty, not dead
just hurt in the passing
to another bed
gnutmeg: (please let me out)
I've been looking over my notes for my personal fic/novel as well as some of my earlier drafts, and I've realized that I really need to write out my good draft.

I mean, I've been working on this for years, I should really finish it.

I just want to change the POV, though. I'm not sure where to write it from.

Ok, this needs a slight explanation:
My story is written so each chapter has a paragraph of 'history' or other related interests at the beginning before the actual plot begins. This part is written from the POV of the Goddess who watches over the main character.

My problem is how to write the chapters. I DO NOT want them from the Goddess' view. They will be either 3rd person omniscient, from the point of view of one of the two main characters (both are different types of faeries, one an asrai and one a pixie, they are a lesbian couple). As the Asrai'n character is telepathic, that might be a bit weird to write from for an entire novel, although I have been able to do it for shorter notes and rough drafts.

I dunno, someone help me out here, please?

a test...

<EDIT> IT FUCKING WORKED!! YAY!!
I now have a webspace which I can link pictures from :) </EDIT>
gnutmeg: (I love you all)
Today has been a grand day. Why?

1 - found a host that'll let me remote link, and made an icon page their for the millions of icons I've made: click here!

2 - found a cutie to replace Lai's Sukita-Bowie pics so I don't feel bad about stealing borrowing Glorfie's icon person. Can we say Gackt?? :)

3 - I have Bowie music playing in the background

4 - think I've addicted a few more people to reading MESPT ;) oops. lol!

Now carry on, all you wonder peoples!
