mom: *complains about how her pepper plants got knocked over when my sister was putting the rabbits back in their cages*
sister: But I stepped around the plants.
sister's bf: Yeah. Like Godzilla.

a bit later:
dad: You know what I thought of when you said "Godzilla"? That little animation short, "Bambi vs. Godzilla"
me: Me too~!
sister's bf: Did Bambi win?
dad: Yes.
mom: Well, he got to go to heaven...

OH. MY. GODS.

Just found out that my best friend from highschool, the girl who named me nutmeg, is getting married.

All I have to say is: WOW.

I've never even heard of the guy she's getting married to. We may not talk a lot anymore, but we do keep up on the gossip, so this means she hasn't been with him too long. ...Isamu tells me late June.
