it's a regular rat-race, yeah...

So. Yesterday evening was spent touring Centrepoint Theatre with 6 year olds. (dangerous idea, I know) BUT I did learn something wonderful while there. The theatre's backstage and tech crew is about 80% volunteers. ...so I got info about it. They're not taking volunteers right now, but come next september they will be, and I think I might apply. It's been ages since I did that sort of thing. (I worked on the backstage crew of my highschool, grades 10-13) I would really love to get into that again... so much fun...

You know something's gone horribly wrong in your mind when you start doing an Irish step dance to Hyde's version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. (no, I don't do a lot of Irish dancing, my friend Lina just taught me a basic step dance, it took years of me practicing to do it, just because I had no clue what it was. Then a 6 year old showed me. Now I can do it)

I've spent my afternoon making Yu~ki & Ayumi icon bases but I am too lazy to upload either right now. Maybe later. Maybe.

My morning, on the other hand, was wasted waiting for the guy who's going to fix our snowblower to show up. I even had my music off and was going back and forth between my room and the front room near the door to make sure I would hear the doorbell. Apparantly I missed him. >.< What pisses me off more, is that I caught the guy who dropped off a package for my mom while I was downstairs with my music on. I mean wtf, man?


Mmn... I find myself completely fallen behind in _theforsaken_ right now... I can't keep up even after getting rid of one character. It's not like there's a lot of posts or anything... they're just all so long... and not really pertaining to my character. I don't know... maybe I'll drop that game... other games are going ok, though 13th Floor isn't really moving at all, because a- no one's applied to join yet (which is odd, because a lot of people expressed interest before I made the thing) and b- I'm just sort of letting myself get distracted by other things. Bah. >.o Must get damned histories finished for that game. I'm such an awful mod, sometimes... which reminds me I'm overdue on the two week rule at horhtoo...

My TO-DO list for the rest of the week:
-print out & drop off a few more resumes
-fill out forms for Camp Woolsey
-fill out forms for Algonquin
-call Audiotronic re: broken CD player
- back-up everything from my comp onto other computer & install windows XP

hyperbole and redundancy are my friends, as is sarcasm

Dear Universe,
   I hate you. Well, prehaps hate is the incorrect adjective. "Vehemently abhor" would be closer to my actual feelings for you. Though even that seems a bit out of touch. Shall I say I hold you in enmity? Or that perhaps I feel a great animousity towards you? Regardless of the wording, the fact of the matter is still crystal clear: I'm not particularly fond of you.
