Gods... thank you, nyde. Now I have thoughts of trying to logically explain to Kia about mailing her going through my head.

*slaps forehead* I find that far too amusing to be healthy.


And a general question for you, oh friends list: I'm looking for samples of music by an artist named Taizo or else stuff from his old band, Feel. If anyone could help me out on this, I would love you forever. (Taizo's the guy in the icon, as well as my 'pain' and 'prowl' icons.)

Anyway... going to go get some sleep. I do have a job interview in about 12 hours, you know. ^^

Interview in just over two hours. Am I nervous? Well... a little. Though it's really more of a feeling of impending doom. That Wal-Mart called, means they have a position that they had me in mind for specifically. So it's only a matter of time until I am owned again. :\

Ah well, money is money, regardless of which multi-million-dollar coporation owns my soul.

Well, the interview is over already. It lasted all of seven minutes. It took me ten minutes to drive there. Yeah. The whole time was me selling herself to me. My strengths? Quick learner, usually cheerful, willingness to work, availability. My weaknesses? Can be workoholic, bipolar disorder, sometimes shy.

The hardest question was 'what is your favourite part of wal-mart and why do you want to come back?' I had to strongly resist the urge to say "it's money, nothing else, I hate this place." Instead, I said something fruity about how friendly it was and how everyone helped each other. I did get to say what I disliked most about wal-mart though, and I told her right out: the organization, how scheduling could be really messed up.


Yeah. She sounded really positive, though. She just wants to talk to my former manager and will get back to me by Sunday to let me know.

The department they want to put me in? Furniture. Ha. The assistant manager claims I won't have to lift anything heavy, as that's why we have store standards. ...to which I quickly pointed out store standards never comes when you call them. She said they were hiring new ones and that I should just call the duty manager to find me someone.

Pfft. Last time I did that, the duty manager didn't come either.

Ah well, you'll probably all be hearing about nutmeg's escapades in the wal-mart's furniture department soon enough.

I think I'm going to cry. I'm trying to find mp3s of Feel, because I want to sample their work, or else of Taizo's solo stuff, and I can't find anything. I did, however manage to find Tetsu69 mp3s. So, at least that curiosity is filled.

So, yeah... anyone who can point me in the way of some Feel and/or Taizo mp3s would be appreciated.

And omfg Tetsu's solo stuff is so cute, but I now understand why he's a bassist and not a singer. He doesn't really have the 'kick' you want in a vocalist, you know? ...It's still cute, though. *smiles*
