gnutmeg: (missing you)
Our internet died last night. So I helped my sister with her webpage. (Doing all the coding from her comp) It was very amusing. We discovered this program on our computers that lets us chat over the network. So we were chatting over this program, and I was helping her out with her webpage while reading old chat logs with Kia. (Yes, love, I missed you that much. :\)

That's right! I didn't do a single one of the useful things I could have done instead. I know. I suck.

I did go to bed early, though. So I got lots and lots of sleep for once. A whole 9 hours. Wow. Impressive, isn't it? Now... to go check all my friends lists... I fear.

I'm leaving the house in fifteen minutes to go for lunch with my sister/buy groceries for mom.

...guess I should get dressed soon. *cough*

When I get back... someone kick my ass and remind me to work on my game, then update my webpage.

Believe it or not, I've actually had a fairly eventful day for once. It all started around 10:30 when my sister asked me to help her dye her hair. (being the resident expert on the subject et al) While doing this she mentioned going to lunch with her friends and seconds mom yelled at us to get groceries for her. So. We ended up leaving the house for lunch with my sister's friends around 11:30.

Of course, by that time, the plans had changed to also include a haircut for my sister and getting another box of dye to cover the patches we missed because she has long hair and only had one box of dye the first time.

Lunch was rather fun. People there included my sister, two of her 'preppy' friends, her 'punk' friend, [livejournal.com profile] nejypoo and yours truly. We were at Kelsey's... I don't know if they have that anywhere outside of Canada, but it's a nice little place. I had a salad with sautéed mushrooms and apple crumble for dessert. Both were lovely.

I find it a little sad that I've seen my sister's friends more often then my own in the past while... but it's ok. I get along well with most of her friends, or else am friends with them too.

To try and save time, I dropped my sister off at the hair salon next, then ran to grab the few groceries we needed. I managed to get back to the salon just in time to have to wait another 15 minutes for her to be done. Oh joy.

And when we got home, we had to shovel the driveway. One of my least prefered chores. When we finally finished that, we had to put away the groceries. Then, finally, I got to return to my computer (and my Kia).

And that is my story of the day. Now I must go forth and do some Hyde-related things as it is his birthday tomorrow. Well, for the side of the world that hasn't crossed the midnight mark yet anyway.
