Note to self: finish icons and work on icon tutorial tomorrow.

Umn, yes. nutmeg is sleepy and her friends list is being boring and not updating fast enough. ( Damn you people and your lives! >:O )

Oh, yeah. See the icon I'm using? My favourite icon ever. Ever. That I've made.

I think, maybe, it's time to call it quits for the evening. I'm tired and I need to try and be up so I can get the van tomorrow. Wish me luck.

OLIVIA makes me smile. ^^;

So does having peanut butter and jam sandwiches for breakfast. And working on projects I set out to do ages ago. (Am halfway through the next two lessons for my icon tutorial.)

As I was working on it, though, I as reminded of a line of thought I have a lot on visual design. I find, in myself at least, that there is a preferrence for straight lines as opposed to curved ones. And for crisp, neat edges over jagged ones. This gets me to wondering, is it just me and my personal preferrence, or is it a common functioning of the human brain to prefer a certain shape?

Let's see. All these icons are made from the same base, and I cut them out in different shapes.

[Poll #292838]

The human mind is a curious place. My hope is that by better understanding it, I can make better icons. Personally, I'm going to keep my clean cut square ones, though.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Am I just crazy?

<EDIT> There was a spider crawling on my arm. Brushed it off and continued on my way, but it still feels like crawliness on my skin. </EDIT>

My feet are dirty.

Our rabbits decided to chew through their cage and were running around in the backyard. To save time, I just pulled off my socks instead of getting shoes. Now the rabbits are all in their inside cage until my sister gets a chance to fix the outdoor one.

Went out for supper tonight. (Yay coconut shrimp!) Then we went to chapters. All I can say is that I'm glad my mom spoils me. I got a Mozart CD, West Side Story DVD, Chinese cook book (my 6th or 7th >.>) and a book on the occult. (Ok, so I have a bazillion of these. I like them!!) And yes. ^^
