gnutmeg: (meaning of life)
Finding change so I can take the bus. Turns out I don't have a car for today like I thought I would as my sister has to go lifeguarding and my mom has to go grocery shopping. Hmmn. Wonder if they'll credit me for seven cents instead of 5 if I use an American nickel? Probably not, eh? ^^;;

Still taking addresses at this screened post, if anyone wants me to write to them while I'm at camp. I will write to anyone who leaves an address, as it's how I keep myself from getting too stressed while working there, so please, if you want to see the mess that is my writing, leave an address.
gnutmeg: (sleeping deedlit)
Today was a pretty good day. Met with [livejournal.com profile] mihogoeth and her mom downtown, then we walked down sommerset through the little 'china town' or whatever you want to call it. It was pretty much just a few blocks of grocery stores with two CD shops, a book shop and a few 'gift shops' thrown in. I don't understand why anyone would need that many grocery stores when they all sell the same thing.

I ended up getting 4 posters at one of the gift stores (one Belldandy, one Urd and two Sailor Moon, say anything about my anime choices and I will hurt you XP) but her mom ended up buying them for me as a birthday present of sorts. ^^; That was really sweet of her. I was all like "no, that's ok, I can buy it, I have lots of money" but she insisted. And I gave [livejournal.com profile] mihogoeth her gift: a listening CD with every track being a different JMusic artist, and a data CD of PVs and mp3s. Hopefully not too many she has already and it will work. I still need to send Nani a new CD, since the other one I sent her didn't work at all. Mind, that was the other burner. Mine actually works.

Anyway, I'm tired and overheated so I'm gonna go lie down a bit (and AIM while lying in bed! I love the set up of my room. XD) then get back to comments later.

Oh, and to the two who said they would give me their address but weren't sure I would/could write them, please send the address. I'll be gone for six weeks (though I admit I will be home on weekends long enough to sleep, write an entry or two and do laundry) so I'll have lots of time to write to people.
