gnutmeg: (singing in the rain)
First day of class went pretty well. I was a little worried when the first thing my accounting teacher said was that we were all going to hate his course, but he's quite entertaining and math is simple, so I'll be fine. My computer course is just dumb. I get to learn how to use Windows XP and the various Microsoft Office programs. Yeah. And I can't decide if I want to use my uni English credit instead of taking my current English or not:

pros:
- no more 8:30am class
- already know all the grammar anyway
- english is a waste of time and effort

cons:
- class teaches formats necessary for business documents that I am not familiar with
- easy mark, helps average
- boring classes are a great source of inspiration for writing *cough*
- uni credits can be saved to apply to other, more appropriate, courses

And, since Algonquin is so wonderful, pretty much all the information for all my courses is online. Like assignments and the class outlines and all that stuff. Very nice, I can access everything at home. :) I do hate having to buy textbooks, though. Ugh. >.o

Ah, now to get to my other tasks for the day, then go back and read all the class stuff.
