(no subject)

Lots to do today. Have to go pick up my new reading glasses, which is good as I'm sick of the fact that my current ones help nothing and I still get my headaches. Also going over to the school to go buy all my textbooks and stuff so I can actually do my homework and everything. And then I have a few things to mail off to people. :O I wonder who will be getting letters? I guess they'll find out when they get there.

And, you know, I dreamt of something totally cool last night but I can't remember what it is now. Don't you hate that? Maybe if I had wrote it down when I woke up instead of waiting until an hour and a half later. (Haha, yeah, I slept in until 9. Doesn't matter because I have no class on Fridays~)

Whee~ long weekend. Wait. That means nothing to me..

Must go steal software from upstairs, too, and install a Microsoft Office on my computer...


But getting showered and dressed is the very first priority right now, I think.


<EDIT> You know, it really sort of disgusts me that a Bowie community with less members (by about 50, but still) can make a post with 1000 (plus) replies, when gacktxhyde can't even make 100. (And the goal was 364? I was dreaming.) The lack of participation in my community sucketh royally. Really discourages me from doing stuff like that with them any more. If they don't want things to be fun and interactive, I can stop and we can be just like every single other community on LJ. </EDIT>

(no subject)

Apparantly my computer no longer plays real media files. Swell. All thanks to the codec pack my dad installed on it. And that means, of course, that I can no longer enjoy the wonder that is the PV clips on the Speena website. T_T Not happy about that. I wanted to get screen shots of them. For animated icons and such, you know? *le sigh*

I also have no idea where my French program CD has run off to. How am I supposed to learn and improve if I can't practice? Seriously. And I think I need to clean my room, so I have a floor. As that would be useful.


Know what really sucks about today? I went and bought $450 worth of text books. (That's about 1/3 what I paid for tuition!) And that's not even everything I have to buy. I have to get this kit for SME class, with like my portfolio holder and an agenda and stuff in it, but it was sold out when I went in. T_T How much does that suxor?? They better get more in on Tuesday, as we're starting to work on our portfolios that day.

Gah. Have a bazillion things to print out for school, too. This just isn't a happy day. I thought it was my day off?


Oh. I also just found out yesterday that my parents are apparantly going on a cruise in January and leaving my little brother and I home alone together. ._. That is going to be hell. Well, good cause no parents, but bad because I'm going to have to do everything and then some. My brother is the fucking laziest little ass in the universe. >.< But at least I'm making him stay home with me to clean the garage tomorrow while my parents take my sister to Guelph. Although, he did ask if he could still go and I told mom that I absolutely needed him, so he has to stay. XP
