yeah, I'm still on a water kick

Anybody interested in building a well in Africa? Seriously. If people are interested, I'll look into the particular charity that does that and find out how we can raise the funds to do so. So, please please please, if you would like to participate in a project like that, contact me either here or by email. If I can get a group of 10 people who are serious about it, then I'll get the information and we can do it. I think it would be an awesome way to give back to the world for the holidays.



And I'll start the "X is cool" posts after school. :P

Kiana is made out of sexy and bubblegum!

We magically gained 8cm (about 3 inches) of snow over night. Not such a big deal, perhaps, until I remembered I had to travel through the stuff. So what, you say, it's snow.

Yeah. Well, I live in Ottawa. Here (as in many cities) they salt the roads and sidewalks. This causes the snow to melt and leaves FUCKING HUGE puddles everywhere. And then your socks and the cuffs of your pants get soaked, and since it's still cold they FREEZE AGAIN. So I'm walking around with wet/frozen pants and chilled toes. Days like this I miss Saskatchewan. You know, where it doesn't snow until about -10C and it's too fucking cold to even try to use salt.


But I did get some xxx-mas shopping done. Oh, and I got my sister the coolest birthday present. And I gave a girl in my class a burned CD of Ayumi songs. (The obsession starts ;)) And my brother has just informed me he got second in the city finals for grade 8 wrestling.

Also, I got my very first real fan email about TnK today. That makes me feel shiny. ;)

she seems to enjoy learning (on her own terms of course) which I think is really awesome

she's really up on all the Japanese bands and is interested in quite a diverse range of groups
