guy on the TV news: *talks about beating the post x-mas bah humbug*
me: Why wait until after christmas [to be bah humbug]?
dad: *laughs, seems proud of me for this*

mom: *on the way home from supper tonight* I think it's bed time for all the good little boys and girls.
sister and I: *look at each other*
sister: Too bad there's none in here.
me: I was about to say... *laughs*

sister: *talking about some dumb person she met on the net*
me: You know, I've actually been called a snob before [on the net/by those sorts of people].
mom: Good. I raised you to be a snob, you know. And a priss. Just like me.
me: *raises a slight eyebrow and represses a smirk, while wondering what she would think if she knew of certain hobbies of mine...*

sister: *talking about the words that are censored out in neopets and then gunbound* And for some reason, staircase is not allowed. Staircase! I mean, I tried every word in it! Maybe it's a swear in spanish or something? There's a lot of spanish people on there.



My family can be funny, at times. There was more, but I forget them. Though thoughts of the $.37 tip and my brother eating 3 salads come to mind...
