I've resorted to playing with lego. Darth Vader has just (for what must be the millionth time) decapated Harry Potter, stolen his pretty starry cape and is dancing on his corpse. The emporer looks on in amusement. And nutmeg wishes she had more lego people. Maybe, if she ever has time, she will set up the lego race track again and let the cars (especially the one Vader drives) run over Harry.
I'm not crazy. Shut up.
Oh, duh, I forgot. For the people who've been whining about wanting to see my blondeness, I will upload pictures in the morning. *nod*
<EDIT> I have two OLIVIA PVs and another YUKI PV uploaded to YouSendIt, but have only been used once or twice. If anyone wants to
abuse them, give me a shout and I'll hook you up, k? </EDIT>
<EDIT2> Just as an thought on
this post: anyone who says there's no variety in western music is twice as closed-minded as the people they say dislike them for enjoying Jrock. I could rant on this forever, and am pretty sure I have in past. But. Honestly, children? You want music that's unique and written by those who perform it? Go to a bar that showcases local indies groups. (Canadian indies = <3) Or check out non-mainstream music or just-barely-mainstream music. *gasp* Yes! Such a thing exists! Might I recommend to you some David Bowie? Or Nine Inch Nails, RadioHead? Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Robin Black, Kittie, Nirvana, Hole, Courtney Love? Moby, Our Lady Peace, The Pixies, Pink, R.E.M., Matthew Good Band, Jewel, Korn, Cake, A Perfect Circle, Oasis, Bare Naked Ladies?
...Just off the top of my head, but I could go on for hours. As for the lyrics being "more poetic"? That's just how Japanese is written. That's the way the language works. It doesn't seem as poetic to those who speak in the same manner on a daily basis. Cut the crap and stop making excuses. You're being just as pigheaded as people who say they won't listen to Japanese music because of the language.
People who automatically think all western music sucks need to be beaten with their own Gackt (or whatever other artist they think is so superior) CD. Yes, Japanese music is good, but it's not the be all and end all by a long shot.
You know what these kids really need? Lots of Mozart. *nods* And yes, I'm well aware that my edit is longer than my post yet again, thankyouverymuch. <EDIT2>
