I made Bonnie Pink smile!
Mar. 6th, 2005 08:19 pmBonnie Pink
Cameron House, Toronto, ON - March 5, 11 p.m. EST
Setlist:
1 - Heaven's Kitchen
2 - Fish
3 - I Just Want You to be Happy
4 - Evil and Flowers
5 - Not Ready
6 - Wildflower
7 - Tonight, the Night
( the detailed version... )
Worst: being squished into a venue far too small for the crowd
Bad: arriving late and having to stand in line for an hour during the act before Bonnie
Eh: should have brought my camera (decided against it, since I thought the bar would be too dark)
Cool: Talking to the photo-student and Japanese couple behind us in line
Good: getting to actually talk to Bonnie, even if it wasn't for very long
Great: being the first to get her autograph
Wonderful: the way she smiled when I wished her good luck as she passed us in the hall
Best: she was absolutely fabulous live, even better than on her CDs, so cheerful and expressionate
Overall: Definitely worth driving down for.
The photo-student we were talking with did take some pictures, as well as one of $ka and I with Bonnie and I've emailed him about using some (and getting the one with us >.>) to post here, so I shall edit once he replies.
And, because I like to credit, all the lyrics links go to the absolutely fabulous Bonnie fan page A Jumble of Blue Jam.
<EDIT> Oh, and because I'm dumb not to mention it early: I swear Bonnie Pink is the sweetest woman in the universe. And she smiles so much (and has such a gorgeous smile!) and she looked really great. ...And Heaven's Kitchen just came on my CD player. Hehe. ^^;;
Oh- expect a few more edits. >.></EDIT>
