in a world full of people

I'm feeling really tired from my week at camp and working today, so I'm just going to give a very quick overview of my week. As in the highlights...

good: program is going great, despite the fact that we've had very little prep time. Most of our hiccups have been behind the scenes and not visible to others
so-so: Moose is starting to get on my nerves with the way she's constantly bitching about something, slacking off, and inviting herself to have a ride home with me
bad: I hate "bead patrols". Might as well fuck me up the ass with a screwdriver. I do not need extra work, I need prep time. Why can't the director see this when most of her staff tells her over and over again?
worse: the director is being very flighty and/or bitchy this year. She's focusing so much on trying to make things "better" for the site staff that she's working her core team (ie what I'm on) into the ground and not even giving us any encouragement or anything.
worst: Cried at the breakfast table on Tuesday morning. (Though the rest of the week did seem to get a lot better after that... >.>;)

There was a kidnapping of Dragon, as usual. Apparantly our "decoy" tactic wasn't much appreciated... having to sing to children for an extra hour after relocating to the basement of Gibbs because the sky decided to open and POUR on us was kind of draining.

redeeming factors of the week: My hubby. Gods, I love that man. Also, I got a letter from Nori~ <3!! Thanks, sweetie!

My teeshirt tan is ridiculous, at this point. Ignore the fact that my "tan" colour is paler than the average caucasian's starting colour. I can't help it if I'm fish belly white! :P
