nothing but you could...

My weekend was pretty good. (I'll write more on that later.)



Tonight was not. (But that's all I'll say on the matter.)

(no subject)

So I spent my weekend at an OCA conference in Toronto with 9 other people from my camp. There were some very impressive speakers, and we all went to separate sessions during the day to learn about different ideas about camp. I went to a few of the ones meant more for directors/senior staff, as I am a director this year. Unfortunately, I found a lot of the information at those to be repititive of what I already knew, but I did pick up on a few ideas that I'll be able to use at camp.

It was also a great chance to get to know some of our other directors a bit better, as we went to some of the same sessions. I really like our new program director, and I'm sure she'll do an awesome job. I'm also pretty glad that Becky is the director I'm directly responsible too, since I get along with her a bit better than I get along with Vicky. (Which reminds me; I need to email Vicky about returning her stuff.)


Some of the random highlights from this weekend include me stealing Jen's shoe after she threw it at Becky, and me deflating Jen's beach ball (twice) because she bounched it off Becky's head into my hands. There were also the random little frogs, the play dough, and the plans for sparks camp world domination.



For those who expressed concern at my last entry, don't worry. I'm a little depressed right now because of a few things, but I'll live.
