So. Hotel internet is a definite negatory. And I couldn't even update LJ until France (aka now) because Magyar keyboards are hell. Damnable alphabets with 44 letters...

We're having fun. My French is definitely better than my Magyar (Hungarian) though I did pick up a little of that while I was there. Europeans are insane drivers. I thought Hungary was terrifying... until we got to Paris. o.O My gods. These people must all have death wishes or something. Crossing the street could be considered a full contact sport.

So 3 more days in Paris. We're going to the Louvre tomorrow, which I am very excited about. We did a general tour today, on one of the busses. Saw all the things like Eiffel and Arc du Triomphe et al, though we didn't get to see Notre Dame because the street to it was blocked off by a couple dozen police vehicles. (Anyone who follows the news and knows what happened in Paris today wanna fill me in?)

Umn... what else? Our Hungarian relatives are all bloody insane. Though they might be coming out to Canada next summer, if things work out. We got a few recipes of some random Hungarian dishes from them that we really liked, except we need to translate them from Magyar. Haha. Also? I've seen like half the back roads of Hungary now. Yup. And Eger (the town we stayed in) is very nice. We'll also be spending a day in Budapest before we catch our flight out, so that's fun.

Oh. I should say. I'm really REALLY going to miss the gelato from Hungary. It's about 80-100 Ft. per scoop. That's like 50 cents! It's 6 times that much in Canada... and about 4 times that much in France... Yup. But. Oh. Peach gelato. I'm going to miss it so.
