Oct. 1st, 2007 11:32 amSo while we were at the theatre to see Across the Universe yesterday (quite good, by the way), I noticed a lot of security guards around, and then my sister's boyfriend pointed out that Prime Minister Stephen Harper was in the theatre with his kids. He was sitting at a table like 2 metres from us. Hah! How's that for you?
Then again, living in Ottawa is like living in Hollywood: you just get used to seeing people like that.
I think the funniest part of it, though, is that neither my sister, my mother, or myself even recognized him! We noticed the security but not him. (Then again, my dad didn't even see the security guard standing next to him until we pointed him out.)
We have guys at the house today to fix the roof where the upstairs bathroom leaked through, and they are parked in front of the garage, so I'm stuck in the house today whether I want to be or not.
