silly boy

So I invited my 18-yr-old brother to come to England for a week during his march break as a sort of birthday present for him (his birthday is in February), and he said he's interested in coming but mom and dad wouldn't be able to buy a ticket for him. I doubted they would, and one of the first things I had suggested is that he pay, or that he pay with their help.


So now I've sent him an email to try and convince him to get a part time job. I mean, yeah he's in grade 11 and is at muay thai/brazillian jujitsu 4 days a week, but 10 hours a week even at minimum wage should get him most if not all the cost of a ticket by March easily. And that's basically a weekend. Which I know he doesn't use for much else, currently.


I guess we'll find out how much he actually wants to come see England, eh? He is a lazy lazy boy...

So I sent in an application for that admin position this morning. They replied already saying "thanks for your interest but we've already filled the position." :(


Guess I'm going to have to find a different job.



Also, I figured out why I'm so grumpy today. Stupid rag.
