a moment

I'm having one of those moments. You know, one where you stop and think "wow, I've surrounded myself in some absolutely amazing people" and then you wonder if you've ever really expressed to any of them just how grateful you are to have them in your life.


So thank you, thank you, thank you! You're my reasons to smile. :)

I've decided that the reason I've been homesick lately is that I've been giving myself too much time to sit and fret about it. That said, I've many things for myself to do and should, I think, start focusing more on those.

I'm also pondering buying myself an instrument while I'm here, since I didn't bring any of mine with me. Just something small - a recorder, perhaps, or a ukelele (shut up) - to amuse myself. Then again, I have a sketch book and notebook that needs filling with drawings/stories.


Also, I need to go grocery shopping tomorrow. All I have, atm, is pasta and oranges. Mmmn... lol!
