look! I has a map of Hithlum!
Feb. 19th, 2008 09:20 amAs I've mentioned once or twice, I've been spending a good deal of time these past weeks on the new RPG I've set up,
gondolindrim. It's at a point now where it has a really strong base, and there are a lot of potential plots - both hilarious and serious - that could grow up from what we've set out as being the standard/accepted world of the game.
Nori, Sar, and Kari (who is not on my flist) have been extremely helpful in the set up of this game. (Nori, especially, with Eru omg <3) So they have my eternal gratitude.
However, I do fear. As much fun as I'm having, it really is the sort of game that works better with more people. We're still missing some rather essential first age figures. (Idril, 5/7 sons of Feanor) And the more "randoms" we have the better the Eru sneeze plotline will go.
So, yes, this is me whining at you guys again. If you (or anyone you know) is interested in roleplaying and Tolkien and might be interested in a mostly-humour based game, check out
gondolindrim. I would love to play with more of you guys, if you're interested.
And no worries if you don't really know canon well - we don't follow it too strongly, we just make fun of it. Besides, the game is more or less set during the Siege of Angband during which nothing terribly exciting happens aside from a couple skirmishes.
