drawing down the moon

Another day, another doctor's visit. Now I have all the shots I need for El Salvador, not to mention a good deal of paperwork and two other medications I have to self-administer over the next two weeks before the trip. So much trouble for one week away. But it's worth it, you know? Some of the shots, like the Hep A&B and Tetanus are good to have anyway.

I feel a little bit lost in wonder and amazement that I'm able to do such things, to go and travel and see the world. I think my dream job would be to travel and... I don't know? Write about the experiences? (Which lead me to go look at the Lonely Planet website, but they don't seem to have any job postings atm. Damn!)

So many things I want so many things I could be, but each is as unattainable as the moon. Should I manage to catch it, the light would just go out.
