We were going to wait until Friday, but due to a major case of kitty sniffles, we decided to give mum's birthday present (a beautiful kitten we adopted from the humane society) to mum last night. She loved the kitten. And now I don't have to keep her trapped in my room, though the sleeping with her on my shoulder was kinda nice.

And she's such a sweet tempered thing. My gods, she's so well behaved it's scary. And a total cuddlebutt. So, if you'd like, meet Daisy. We're going to wait a couple weeks for her to adjust to the house and such and then we're going to introduce her to Soda. They're both pretty young and of good temperaments, so we think they should get on.
