Let me just say once and for all that I find the idea of "National Marijuana Day" to be absolutely disgusting. I've seen what long-time use of it can do to people. Maybe it won't kill you, but it can still fuck you over bad.

Just ask my ex-bf who's going to need Viagra at the age of 30. Or my HS friends whose marks went from high 90s in grade 12 to 57s in grade 13. (Mind, both were heavy users, but it is possible.)

Don't believe me? Go look up the info at places like Health Canada.

It's more of an underground thing than an officially recognized one, but yes. I am not impressed. Let us also start a day for alcohol, cigarettes, heroin, and self-mutilation. That way every bad habit can be celebrated! *rolls eyes* Like I said in earlier comments, I have no problem with some things in moderation. But others... I simply can't approve of. I've seen what they can do and don't want to see it again.
