Yes, I know most of you are not wiccan. Still. You wish me well on your holidays, so I'll wish you well on mine. Don't forget to leave out bread and milk for the fairies, everyone. At least, for those of us in the northern hemisphere. The sabbats are different in the southern hemisphere, and I don't really know what they are. Sorry.

So I've been working and working on this business plan of mine. I'm so glad that this doesn't need to be overly thorough as I'm really feeling quite clueless on this thing. I have to do things with finances and such that I don't really know how to do. Call it a weakness of mine, but I'm pretty bad when it comes to money. I only look ahead one expense at a time. Quite frankly, looking at this thing, the store could cost me roughly up to $30,000 just to get the doors open. Let that be a warning to my fellow entrepreneurs out there, living your dream and being your own boss is not cheap. It's also a lot of work. To do this sort of thing, you've really got to love what you're doing. Do I love it? You better believe it. I love a good challenge. Problem solving has always been a favourite activity of mine. I just need to look at this as a big word puzzle and have fun with it.

Plus there's so much money for young (25 & under) entrepreneurs in Canada that it's not even funny. Even after teaching in Japan for a year once I finish my degree, I'll still qualify for it, so I'm quite happy about that. Getting money will not be a problem at all. And living in Japan for a year will help give me ideas to bring back for the store.

I'm super excited, can you tell?

And, as a random note, I need to buy every album this woman has produced. No. Seriously. I think I'm in love.

Samhain blessings to you, may the memories of those gone burn warmly in your heart.

And it has been entirely too long since I wished someone a happy Samhain.

Brightest blessings, to you also.

And I so know what you mean. :\ Miss having a coven so much.

I never had a coven. I wish that I had. It would have been a nice experience and I feel rather deprived, lol.

You could start a little bit smaller, as most businesses do before reaching something like the $30,000 mark. That's a goal I believe you need to build up to.

And Samhain blessings to you. I think I'd return the favour and wish you well on your holiday. Just because you're wiccan, doesn't mean your holiday's are less important in meaning.

Ah. But imports are expensive. And that is the very most I would spend to start. Also, remember this is in Canadian money. So it's closer to $24,000 USD.

No, being wiccan means my holidays are ignored by the majority of the public. And hiding my celebrations from my mother who might possibly crucify me. Bloody woman.

Happy belated Samhain. ^__^ I'm not Wiccan, but I've heard of the holiday. Originally Celtic, right? Or is that just Wiccan traditions in general? ^^;;;; Er, I feel lost now, lol... >_>;; Do you mind telling me more about Samhain, at least? *meek*

All the sabbats celebrated by wiccans get their names from the Celtic names for months (or some variation there of, though some people choose merely to call them "May Day" and "Summer Solstice" and stuff) Samhain was/is the new year, liturgically speaking. It signifies the end of the summer and the death of the Horned God. It is a holy day as it is believed that the dead walk on this day. Offerings are made, often of apples or pomegranite (red fruit) on the alter for the dead. Milk and bread is often left out for faeries, also. (Believed to be related to the dead.) The traditional colours are red and black.

Umn... I think that's the basics.

Nifty. Thanks for that. ^^

I like Wicca, but I haven't had time/really gone into researching it at all. -__-;; I find too many things interesting... It's a good and bad quality at the same time...
