I'm a little scattered today
First, a question to those from Ontario - have the released the stats on this year's literacy test, yet?
Discovered today that Gowan did, in fact, sing for Rush. This was a bad thing. I do not need more CDs to lust for.
In other news, nutmeg badly needs to go on a diet. ._. Anyone do anything that worked really well? Suggest Atikins and I'll throw rocks at you. >:|
Also, Kuraki Mai did a christmas song that was based on a traditional one but she changed it to Japanese. It was something about bells. Anyone who can tell me the name of that song or point me to where I can find it gets e-cookies and much love.

Diet... kinda
NO MORE SODA! Drink water or juice instead. Maybe non-fat milk?
Most of all, substitute any of the above with whole fruits and vegetables, not canned. Don't cut stuff and leave it in the fridge for a long time, the nutrients essentially go away.
When you eat bread, look for whole-grain bread.
Pretty much, salad, fish, and fruit are the way to go as long as you don't put a lot of creamy dressings on it.
More than anything, though: EXERCISE. Not just walking or moving slowly, you have to do something that makes your heart andf muscles actually work. Walking just doesn't cut it. I like DDR because I don't have to leave the house -- hell, I can do it in my underwear and don't have to worry about anyone laughing.
I think strenuous exercise is probably even more important to losing weight than diet.
Which is probably why I'm not getting any less flabby. *chuckles*

I live in an atkins house. I have to beg to get bread, period. I do eat whole grain though, as it tastes better.
We also have salad at almost every meal, again because of the atkins thing.
I often go on walks around campus between classes, as long as it's not raining and spend 1-2 hours on our Gazelle (ski machine) every week.
Techinically, I should be losing weight. But I'm not. I'm gaining it. It's very confusing and bad. :(
