yeah, I'm still on a water kick

Anybody interested in building a well in Africa? Seriously. If people are interested, I'll look into the particular charity that does that and find out how we can raise the funds to do so. So, please please please, if you would like to participate in a project like that, contact me either here or by email. If I can get a group of 10 people who are serious about it, then I'll get the information and we can do it. I think it would be an awesome way to give back to the world for the holidays.

And I'll start the "X is cool" posts after school. :P

Hmm. Sure.

Alas, looks like no one else is interested. Stupid people with lack of social concience. Maybe I'll try running one through school, next semester, instead. :\

I read an article today in a paper I picked up somewhere in my faculty, and it gave a link to a site that analyzed lots of non profit organizations... I gave the paper to a pal, but maybe tomorrow I can go check it out and write that url down so that we can see how this can be done and what charity would be the best.

Ten people is not enough for a well in Africa.

No, but ten people is enough to organize a fundraiser.

Actually, I was once given a speech from some 12 year old kid who apparantly has built 3 wells in Africa, started his own charity or somesuch thing. Pretty cool.
