gnutmeg: (love me not)

You know, most people wouldn't be too overly upset if they gained one pant size in a year. I mean, it's not really a lot of weight or anything and, for most, would be easy to lose.

I, on the other hand, am horribly upset about this. Why? I've been dieting. I barely even eat half of the amount I used to. I exercise regularly. What I do eat tends towards healthier foods, for the most part. What the HELL is wrong with my body?

Hey, don't worry about it too much. <3 I can understand if it worries you, but just remember...weight isn't everything.

Yeah, yeah. That sounds cheesy, but still... :)

Especially when I gain weight while living a healthier lifestyle where most people would lose it? That's not healthy.

that's the same boat i'm in right now. i doont' eat much and i exercise but i'm still gaining weight.
it is frustrating.

I'd love to figure out how to escape this. It might require a doctor's visit and that does not make me happy.

agh- i hate going to the doctor's office. all they ever tell me is that, yes, i am sick, but they can't do anything and i have to wait it out. or they tell me the break is in a place where a cast wouldn't help and, again, i have to wait it out.

but i do think, if you think it might be a disorder or something of the sort, you should go. it's unpleasant, but maybe it'll help in the long run??

Remember that some exercising causes weight gain because it strengthens muscle. If it's not that type of exercise, though, I don't know what to tell you. :/ Wish you luck with that.

I do mostly cardiovascular stuff or long walks. (Like, hour long and such.) As far as I'm aware that shouldn't cause weight gain.

it could cause weight gain, but muscles are more compact, so you would actually go down a size even if you gain weight. i'm not helping, am i??
