can my wrist watch be any louder?

I was checking my mom's water for iced tea today, to see if it was boiled, and ended up burning my arm pretty badly, actually. It's ok now, mostly. Still hurts a little.

And the longer I have this short hair of mine, the more I'm absolutely loving it. I'll take pictures of it for you guys one of these days, once I'm feeling like smiling again. (Since there's a few of you who always complain at me that I don't smile enough in pictures.)

It qualifies under the first aid definition of a burn. The hot water did, in fact, splash on my arm. It was painful, but not too severe. I think.

:o We here call water splasing on skin a scald... Wonder if it's just an area difference? It shouldn't leave a scar, but it might blister after a while or turn shiney.
