My bedroom smells like jelly bean! I don't know if any of you use the Body Shop's heated scented room oils (I'm a total addict), but the new jelly bean one is really nice. Their steamed milk is still my favourite, though.

Continuing my efforts to get things done before I leave, I've done the larger part of my Christmas shopping for my family and wrapped the presents already. (I've hidden them in my closet and will email my sister in December to get her to put them under the tree for me.)

I have slacked for most of today, though, because omg cramps. Nice that aunt flo is getting out of the way before I leave, though. I hate dealing with that while travelling.

It was funny today, while I was helping my mom grocery shop. I'd see something good and be "mmmn..." like I usually do. So she'd ask me if I wanted whatever it was, and I'd keep having to tell her there wasn't much point, since I'm leaving the country in slightly more than a week. Then she was all sad that she would have no one to help her with groceries.

Also, we've been eating at McD's so much lately because we've been playing that monopoly game they have going on. Right now, our board is only missing one from every colour. I think it's pretty funny. We've won like 6 of the instant food prizes. And we have so many extra little stickers. Guaranteed we're going to stop there again tomorrow, even if it's just for milkshakes. haha!

Hokay, I'm rambling. That means it's time for bed.

Aren't the scented oils crazy? There's not a Body Shop locally, so we buy them from Bath & Body Works (which doesn't exist in Canada?), and they're quite lovely. They've come out with their winter scents, and one is called "vanilla bean noel", which is vanilla bean, caramel, and cream. I hate that the dorm doesn't allow candles, otherwise I'd be rocking this in my room. The reed diffuser I have works pretty well, though.

I think I've seen Bath & Body Works, but we don't have any in Ottawa. I am definitely going to miss my scented oils while in England. I have a lot of nice ones: creme brulee, brandied apple, pumpkin nectarine.

Whoa, thank you so much for letting me know that the Body Shop has new scented oils! I was burning Satsuma yesterday - I love the oils! I'm totally checking out the jelly bean one. I'm pretty excited! :-D

My local body shop had them on sale 3 for $18, too. So that was a nice little bonus.

Well, mailing things is expensive and no guarantee they'd get home on time, so. I will send them some more smaller things from England but I thought this would be nice, for my mom especially. She's very clingy to me.
