So, I've been trying to figure out the best way to quit my job. Now, I don't have to. I was "let go".


It's good, since I obviously hated it and wasn't terribly good at it. It's kind of sucky as I was hoping to hang in for one or two more weeks so I could have a bit more money in the bank before this point.

I guess we'll see how things go from here.

To be honest, I was miserable there. It sucks to be jobless, but I know I'll be happier for it in the long run. What sucks, though, is that another 2 weeks at this job would have left me with enough money for the rest of my trip.

In my mind, the plus side is that I've gotten away from a job that made me cry 2 years faster than CD Warehouse managed to.

Now I've some time and money to travel, and then I can look for a job again in a month.

What? Pam's gone? For real? Who's doing her job then? (Maybe I will consider going back when I get home...)

I am currently looking into a trip to Edinburgh. Or maybe some sort of tour-y thing.

She's for real gone. Apparently she gave her notice before Christmas. Her last day was the 31st of December or something....Tara can tell you more. As far as I know they haven't given her job to any one person. They just divided it all up among the managers.

Poor Pilkington.

Shoot, I'm sorry to hear things didn't turn out so well at the job. But atleast it sounds like it's a good thing in some ways since you weren't happy. *hugs*
