So. Whilst I was out today I happened into a book store (it was that or the CD store, this felt slightly less dangerous) and found two books that would've cost me about $40 CAD each (plus tax - according to the price listed on the cover) if I'd gotten them at home, but I got them together for under $25 CAD. How awesome is that?

The first book, Lady Cottington's Fairy Album is a book I've wanted to buy for ages. (One of the few Brian Froud I didn't already have.) The other is a book called The Knight Triumphant by Stephen Turnbull, which just looked fascinating.

I also went out to my favourite Chinese buffet only to discover I have half the appetite I used to. (ie when I first came to Bath) So I don't get as much value out of that as I should have liked, but it was still good food at a decent price.

I've always wanted the Lady Cottington's book! I found it once at a Half-Price books and against my better judgment I didn't buy it. I've been lamenting it ever since. ;__;

Brian Froud is simply amazing. If you ever see his books on sale grab them. Even if you have them already they make for amazing gifts for another faerie/fantasy lover in your life. My personal favourite is his Goblins book.
