You know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

3. Location: Ottawa. Trying to find a place I can afford so I can get out of my parents' place.

4. Occupation: whatever brings money in. Hope to eventually own a summer camp/outdoor education centre.

5. Partner: none. Not interested. Facebook-married to my good friend Tara.

6. Kids: no, thank you

7. Brothers/Sisters: one of each. Usually referred to as the sister and the boy. Also have a future-brother-in-law living with us atm. ...I badly need to move out.

8. Pets: Fuu (aka the grumpy old lady - a budgie), Soda (aka jinglerat - a baby flemish giant rabbit), a turtle, a gecko, some fish, and a crapload of crickets which drive me mad.

9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:

1. serious issues with my mental illness... making it exceedingly difficult to see the doctor I need or even to bother to talk to anyone


2. trying to get back in touch with certain old friends I've missed, rebuild the bridges


3. trying not to get angry with certain other people who clearly need a lot of patience and understanding even if they won't extend me the same courtesy


4. leaving retail job as of tomorrow, hoping this will make things a lot better (probably will, since it will eliminate some of the stress)


5. heading off to camp, soon. Will literally be gone for 2 months. Should be really good for me and help me repair some of the recent damage.
