So, I've got a new pet. His name is Captain Cupcake. He is a rat. He has three legs. He's been in my shirt for like... 2 hours? now. He's had a nap in there, groomed a couple times. Apparently boobies are a perfect rat home. Who knew?

So in love with him. He's a total sweetie. I just want to spend my entire life with this rat in my bra.


...yeah, I can't believe I just said that, either.

We went to the pet store to pick out rats and the lady there was like "we have one in the back who lost a foot, so we can't sell him but if you want to adopt him for free, he's yours". So I went and met the rat and he was a total cutie and kept trying to crawl up my shirt sleeve, so we decided to bring him home. And then we got one other (who was his litter mate, they were just kept separate cause of his injury) that we actually bought and yes. I adore ratties. They're smart and sweet and cuddly.

That's lucky, the pet store I have been in was still going to sell a bearded dragon with 3 feet for the full price of $100 >>
