Things to do when the insomnia strikes hard (aka you ran out of the good drugs):
- lay in bed staring at the ceiling
- waste time on Tumblr
- waste time on DW
- waste time on facebook
- eat a tasty snack (apple!)
- admit defeat, rise, paint that buddha statue that needs loving
- crochet
- try to sleep again
- listen to music
- hate existence
- make yourself more icons
- check all social media again
- don't work on any of your in progress fics, nope
- do some tidying
- finally decide it's late enough that you can get up and shower and have tea
- definitely don't try to be ill, it'll come naturally
