gnutmegHope everyone's holidays have gone well. We ended up have two turkey dinners as mum and aunt Jo can't compromise. Or because my sis was out of town the 25th and my aunt's son-in-law was in town that day. Either way, two full turkey dinners. I am, needless to say, a bit sick of the roast and leftovers already. Mind, as I've been trying to eat more and more vegetarian such an pro-meat meal is not my favourite to begin with. Not that I plan to give up meat completely, I just think I eat too much of it. It should be more 3-4 times a week, not that much a week as my mum seems to prefer.
Best gifts this year include sassy new boots (red with rainbow insets~ <3!), and Avengers Munchkin. Now to start up a game.
sewn mentioned the show Miss Sherlock in an entry and it sounds interesting, but it's not on HBO here apparently (yet?), so I'm going to have to check Amazon and Netflix. Then bug my brother since I haven't dled anything like that in years. I still buy CDs and DVDs like the music store former employee loser I am.
Going to see Into the Spiderverse with Bex tomorrow. Never a huge Spider-Man fan, but I think it'll be fun with the extended spiders. Just sucks that Jess Drew isn't in it. She my homegirl. Spider Women >>>>> Spider Guys always! lol
Had a 2.5 hour qigong session yesterday. That felt pretty good. I know I'm more working on my 6 words and 8 brocade, but I need to remember to start bringing my notebook in to write down some of the more complicated exorcises. And print myself out an image of the Chinese acupuncture points to help me with visualization in meditations.
Been feeling super crafty lately too. Got my hands on some UV resin off ebay. Just trying to figure out the best way to get it to work now. The description said it dried in sunlight, but it definitely did NOT when I tried. Will have to borrow mum's UV lamp and try again.
