gnutmeg1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Got an LJ, worked at Walmart, dropped out of university, became addicted to the internet... a bunch of things.
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I made a reslution 3 years ago to never make a resolution again. So far, I've kept that.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My aunt had twins, just this month.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
I killed off a few RP characters... and one year anniversary of Minh's passing. :\ Miss her.
5. What countries did you visit?
I stayed in Canada this year. My parents dislike travel. (which pisses me off to no end)
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
My own placewith Kia, a decent job, mental stability, financial stability, a tattoo
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Most likely none. I never do remember dates... and I rarely remember events. Just people...
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Freeing myself from the drudgery of university? Is that an achievement?
9. What was your biggest failure?
My behaviour at summer camp. I did a bad job this year, and I really want to improve for future years.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Many times. Sprained my knee at summer camp. Got a flu-like thing about a gazillion times, from lack of sleep which was caused either by depression or staying up too late RPing.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Hyde Calendar/666/Rock Rock Rock
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Ruby. I think that girl is coping really well, considering the shit she's going through.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled?
My mother's.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Clothing, hair dye. Maybe food.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Summer camp and when my Hyde stuff came in the mail.
16. What song will always remind you of 2003?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier when I'm actually myself
ii. thinner or fatter? ...fatter ;_; and I've been dieting for most of the year, so this truly puzzles me
iii. richer or poorer? about even
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Work. I need money. ;_;
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Whining. Althoug admittedly I do have reasons to whine, I could have approached things from a calmer and more rational outlook. I mean, I am an adult, in theory.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I did spend Christmas over at my aunt's house playing karaoke revolution after a big meal.
22. Did you fall in love in 2003?

When I bothered to watch TV, (which was almost never) it was Trading Spaces.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't hate people, only their actions.

The Silmarillion (JRR Tolkien)
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
HYDE. And well, J Rock in general.
28. What did you want and got?
Out of university.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
So far... PotC... only because I have not seen RotK or MoonChild yet.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I had a party that only 2 people bothered to show up for. Out of 12 invited. Yeah... and I turned 20.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Moving out of my goddamned house.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
Prep/goth/kawaii-ish >.> Lots of black, brown, tan, pink and white. Dress pants, lots of shirts with laces or unusual cuts.
34. What kept you sane?
Ruby, John, Nani, and Kiana
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
David Bowie & Hyde
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The whole gay marriage thing... they're thinking of passing federal legislation on it in Canada...

Minh. And a lot of my HS friends...

Can I just put down my entire friends list? Umn. To pick just one person, I would have to say Kia. Becuase of obligatory koibito duties and what not. That and I love her to itty bitty little pieces.
