My playlist seems to be a huge fan of Gackt today. I keep hearing Gackt or Malice Mizer with Gackt singing. Not that that's a horrible thing, but I have Ayumi Hamasaki, Klaha, Hyde, Aya Matsuura, Közi, Moi dix Mois, Tetsu69 and Bonnie Pink to listen to as well (just to name a few). *skips a bit until she finds some Nickelback*

Anyway. Yes. It's snowing right now. Apparantly it's the tail end of a blizzard that's passed all the way through Canada. Of course, none of it is sticking. It all melts as soon as it hits the ground. The weather's just too warm to keep the snow.

I'm so not complaining. :D *hates snow*

Mmn... I love Canadian music. Mind, I love British and Japanese music, too. It's all so tastey.

Ok, I've been reduced to rambling again, so I'll shut up.

3 more days until life goes back to normal.

<EDIT> I'm big into these edits today. (Guess I just don't know when to shut up) Anyway.

I've given more than 1000 more comments than I've received. I find this to be very disturbing. Don't people like to talk to me? </EDIT>

I need some Tetsu69. Honestly. All I've been able to get my hands on is Wonderful World, and Tightrope. X.x

I need teh Tetsu!

And yeah. All honesty? I hate like 98% of American music o_o;

I do not have a taste for much American music. Only a few groups. Most of the stuff I listen to is Canadian (though really not on purpose).

And... Tetsu69 (http://www.geocities.com/tetsuangel69/). Go to the media section. I SO want to get Suite November.

And most of the american music I like is Rock from the 80s, Soundgarden, and Nirvana...that's practically IT.

Well, yes. ^_~

Mine's stuff like Nirvana, Hole, NiN... some of my 60s stuff >.> Jewel and REM (I think REM is American? I don't remember) I think I phrased my statement wrong. I listen to a lot of American, since that's what they play a lot of on our radio stations, but most of my favourite groups are Canadian or Japanese or British.

*nod* Understandable. I'd say I have to agree with you. A lot of the bands I listen to are either Japanese, or they came from England somewhere. With the exception of H.I.M., since their Finnish.

Ugh. Still. I've had my LJ for almost a year (like... 2 weeks short of ^^;). You'd think these things would be more... even by now. *shakes head* People really need to learn to comment more.

Yeah, but usually people end up giving more comments then they recieve. I've decided that's like.. the universal law of the internet or something.

If it makes a difference, I'll comment more. I need to get to doing that more often anyways. ^^;

My playlist has the same strange habits in regards to Gackt. It's worse, in fact: the moment a friend of mine gets online, almost inevitably, Vanilla starts up at random. It's gotten to the point where we have a running gag about her controlling my shuffle function with her brain pwrz. *chuckles*

I love music in general. What makes Canadian music different from American music though? *tilts*

The biggest difference is the choice of artists, really. Canadian and American bands overlap quite often. Perhaps you've heard some of the more popular Canadian artists, such as Our Lady Peace, the Bare Naked Ladies, Nickelback, Kittie, Avril Lavigne, Alannis Morissette and Celine Dion, to name a few.

Oh yeah. Hell, I didn't even know the first three were Canadian, but then, I don't really disassociate Canadians from Americans. I've yet to see any stereotypes of Canadians fulfilled so to me, it's just like, "Oh, they're from a bit farther North."

Does that make any sense? ^_^;;

It does make sense, in a way. Really, the only real difference between Canadians and Americans that I've noticed is that Americans are usually more aggressive in their approach to things where Canadians are passive. It's not all cases, of course, but many. Their are also many cultural things that you'd probably pick up if you met face-to-face as opposed to online. Manners and such. Canadians tend to be politer. Mind, this is just my personal experience and doesn't hold true in every case, but it's true from what I have seen.

That's so true, though, in general. I always wondered but could never put my finger on what the little differences were. I think that's a pretty good summation.
