want to be true to you
Dec. 20th, 2005 07:54 amMy life seems to be in small segments and rather short stories right now. Forgiveness.
I woke up an hour ago. After just under 5 hours of sleep. Not a very good sleep, either. More a restless one. Maybe because I forced myself to sleep while still upset about something? Most likely.
So I've finally spent some time with my sister. So far, she's shown me some of the strange internet movies she seems to enjoy far too much and kicked my ass (as always) at Mario Party.
I spent some of the christmas money I got from my grandparents on the movie One Missed Call. Since I love the sequel and all. I also got the Matt Good best of album. Because all the Matt Good songs I like (aka the singles) are on it. (That's a Canadian band - the Matthew Good Band - for those unfamiliar with them.)
Today will be my 6th day working straight without a break. Heh. Last night a girl from work called asking me to take her shift tomorrow night. I was tempted for half a second by the money factor, but in the end, it wasn't worth sacrificing one of my precious few days off. Pretty sure my paycheque this week is going to be pretty large again. That'll be nice.
We're planning to go see that new Narnia movie on Wednesday. Which is cool. Narnia was one of the earliest book series I chewed through. Read those about the same time I read Madeleine L'Engle's Wrinkle in Time trilogy and related chains. (Though, admittedly, I'm still not done all the L'Engle books. They're just so hard to track down and put in proper order... I wish I had all her books, though. So much. I have maybe 3. Same with the Narnia ones. I wish I had a full and proper collection of them. My sister does, but I want one of my own.)
I'm so late on sending out holiday cards. I've addressed a bunch, but haven't finished writing and certainly haven't sent any yet. I feel like such a dumbass, since I've had them over a month, but I just haven't had the time to sit and do that. I'm going to do that right now, though, since I don't work until tonight.
