While enjoying LJ's April 1 joke for the year, and looking over some of the comments, I noticed a strange comment about ads on LJ. I kinda stopped and went "wtf?" then went to do so more research.

I really wish I was joking, but it seems to be real. It doesn't really affect me, since I'm a permanent account, but I know many of you are free users. You should check out what they're planning and let LJ know how you feel about it.



I will say one thing, though. I am personally unimpressed by such an idea.
