Someone who loves me a lot should get me these for christmas. Ok, admittedly, I only need evergreen. I have the other two. But still. They match my first edition Roentgen.

A couple places I submitted CVs to have now taken down their help wanted signs. But not called me. Guess I won't be getting calls from them, eh? :( I did drop off another resume today, though, and am working on some application forms so I'm still hopeful. The place I dropped off a resume to today is looking for a manager, assitant manager, and regular staff. I'd be willing to do any of those, and I do have management experience so maybe...

I just want a job. :( I could be having much more fun here if I had money to spend. I mean I really love it here but the worry/depression of joblessness takes away from it a lot.

So I finally caved and allowed myself £10 to buy myself anything and everything I might want for the holidays. This involved a small electric green christmas tree (they sold out of the hot pink so I didn't have to debate any more!), and a few tiny "presents" which I wrapped up in some tissue paper I had a tucked under said tree. Yeah, it's sad to buy myself gifts but I already got my present from my parents and my siblings are leaving my presents at home, since shipping them back and forth is just silly. It's more for the idea of the thing than anything. I'm also putting any christmas/holiday cards I get around it. So far I've gotten 1: thanks Andy!

Also, I discovered there is some sort of chocolate festival on tomorrow here. I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but who am I to say no to European chocolate? Especially when there's a chance of free samples? I guess I'll have to go. Darn.
