It seems old habits have returned to me, causing me to stay true to my username.
Yes, that's right. I've gone back to the elf!slash addiction. And it is joyous. Yes, the Glorfindel fics are still my favourite. It's funny, with fics I always tend to pick a favourite character and just not care who they're paired with. (See: HYDE, Glorfindel)
In completely non-fandom related news, apparantly a watermane broke near my work today - so we lost water! I actually left shortly after we found out we had no water (finished) and found out when I'd went into one of the stores near ours. I suppose I'll find out tomorrow what happened at work. I suspect they might have had to close down for the day. After all, what can a cafe do without water? Can't make any teas/coffees or wash any dishes, so...
Also, since my cafe is closing from the 23rd Dec to 3rd Jan, I've been seriously considering taking some time to travel up to (Edinburgh) Scotland for part of that time. Any thoughts? The train ticket would cost me the equivalent of $170CAD, but I can get a bed for just $20CAD a night. And I just got last weeks' pay which was about $210CAD... I dunno. I'm thinking about it. Between the money I was given for Christmas and the next paycheque which I should get just before the holidays, it is affordable. Mostly, I think I'm just itching to travel again but at the same time I'm feeling rather comfortable settled. It's a tough choice!
